Resumo: Este artigo se propõe a debater a necessidade de uma nova abordagem nas aulas de História para os anos finais do ensino fundamental. Baseia-se em oficina apresentada no Itinerante 2010, da Secretaria de Educação do Estado do Paraná, e apresenta algumas técnicas didático-pedagógicas voltadas para o ensino do tema Egito antigo.

Abstract: This article aims to discuss the need for a new approach in the lessons of History to the final years of elementary school. It is based on workshop presented for the Itinerante 2010, sponsored by the Education Department of the State of Paraná, and presents some technical didactic and pedagogical-oriented teaching of the subject of Ancient Egypt.
